FIVE WINDOWS Mid Bracelet Model [VM07-M01SB]
A yukimi shoji is a snow-viewing screen: a sliding paper panel with a glazed lower section, so you can sit inside a warm room and still watch the garden. That screen is the idea behind the MINASE FIVE WINDOWS Mid.
MINASE states the concept plainly as admiring a Japanese garden from inside a box, and the windows are literal. Sapphire panes are let into the case sides, the caseback is sapphire, and the front crystal completes the set, so daylight enters from several directions at once and lands on the dial. The polished edges between those faces are brought to acute angles by Sallaz hand-polishing, which keeps each mirror flat and each corner sharp.
Reference VM07-M01SB is the FIVE WINDOWS Mid on MINASE’s MORE stainless steel bracelet, an exterior built to be disassembled and rebuilt. The case measures 32 mm wide by 40.3 mm long and 11.6 mm thick including the crystal, and the watch weighs about 118.7 g. Inside is the self-winding caliber KT8001 with date, built on a Swiss ETA 2671 / Sellita SW100 base and finished by MINASE. 5 atm covers rain and splashes.
Compact, unisex by design, and comfortable under a shirt cuff.
Perfect for: compact square case watches, Japanese garden design enthusiasts, steel bracelet everyday watches.
