DIVIDO Rubber Model [VM14-RBKGGR-SSD]
A forest-green dial that lifts to a pale center and passes through an olive ring on the way, mounted on black rubber. The MINASE DIVIDO is not a watch that hides its color.
MINASE exists because of a drill bit. Its parent company, Kyowa Co., Ltd., made precision cutting tools, and its breakthrough in 1964 was a step drill for machining the crown holes in watch cases. Case-making followed, then complete watches, then the brand’s own name in 2005. The MINASE logo is still a step-drill motif.
Reference VM14-RBKGGR-SSD is the gradated green DIVIDO on a black rubber strap, about 91 g on the wrist against 134 g for the bracelet. The case-in-case measures 40.6 by 40.6 mm and 11 mm thick including the sapphire crystal, with the four lugs mounted above the case on their partition. Inside is the self-winding caliber KT7002 with date, built on a Swiss ETA 2892 / Sellita SW300 base and finished by MINASE. Water resistance is 5 atm.
Best on someone who wears color deliberately rather than by accident.
Perfect for: green gradient dial watches, casual Japanese luxury watches, warm weather rubber strap watches.
