DIVIDO Bracelet Model [VM14-M01NBL-SSB]
A deep royal blue, held flat across the whole dial. No gradient, no starburst. Just color, and the mirror-polished planes of the MINASE DIVIDO case throwing light around it.
Those planes are why the watch takes as long as it does. MINASE finishes them by Sallaz polishing, a hand technique that originated in Switzerland and was largely lost before the company revived it in Japan. The craftsman presses each surface against a rotating tin plate charged with fine diamond dust, judging pressure by fingertip alone. Because the plate is flat and hard, the surface stays planar: the reflection carries no distortion and the edges between faces stay sharp. MINASE says a single part can take up to 90 minutes.
Reference VM14-M01NBL-SSB pairs the solid blue dial with the MORE stainless steel bracelet. The DIVIDO case measures 40.6 by 40.6 mm and 11 mm thick including the crystal, and weighs about 134 g. Inside is the self-winding caliber KT7002 with date, built on a Swiss ETA 2892 / Sellita SW300 base. Sapphire crystal, 5 atm, so rain rather than swimming.
A watch that rewards the person who notices where two polished surfaces meet.
Perfect for: royal blue dial automatics, hand-polished case collectors, business-appropriate steel watches.
