DIVIDO Bracelet Model [VM14-M01GGR-SSB]
Deep forest green at the rim, a pale opening at the center, an olive ring between them. Green dials are usually flat. This MINASE DIVIDO dial has weather in it.
MINASE works from the town of Minase in Akita Prefecture, roughly 600 km north of Tokyo, in a landscape of conifer forest, clean rivers and winters deep enough to cut the roads. The company compares its own setting to a small Swiss village in the Jura and borrows the word terroir for it. Its watches are, in its own phrasing, made entirely of hand-crafted components and basically made to order.
Reference VM14-M01GGR-SSB carries the gradated green dial on the MORE stainless steel bracelet. The DIVIDO case-in-case structure measures 40.6 mm across and 40.6 mm from top to bottom, 11 mm thick with the sapphire crystal counted, and the watch weighs about 134 g. Timekeeping comes from the self-winding caliber KT7002 with date, a Swiss ETA 2892 / Sellita SW300 base that MINASE finishes itself. Water resistance is 5 atm, which covers rain and hand-washing, not swimming.
It suits the buyer who has worn a black dial for a decade and wants something with more temperature in it.
Perfect for: green dial watch buyers, Japanese craft watch collectors, nature-toned dial seekers.
