Archao Steel – dark blue

Dark blue and cognac is the Archao at its most classical, right up to the moment the lights go down.

MeisterSinger named this model from the Greek archaios, primal or original, and built it as the sporty, night-legible member of the range. Oversized half-hour and quarter-hour markers sit in crisp white on a finely grained dial, while the five-minute divisions recede in light gray, so the coarse scale carries at a distance and the fine scale waits for a closer look. The numerals, markers and hand are white LumiBlocks, applied luminous blocks that store daylight and give the Archao far stronger night presence than the brand's earlier models.

This version pairs an uncoated 43 mm stainless steel case with a dark blue dial and a cognac leather strap on 20 mm lugs. The single hand is the divided design, interrupted at the center and hollowed from within, its long triangular tip balanced by an elongated overhang behind the pinion. Movement is a Sellita SW200 automatic modified for the single hand, 38-hour power reserve, 5 bar, no date.

At 43 mm by 12.3 mm it has presence without bulk, and the blue dial keeps it as usable under a cuff as with a sleeve rolled up.
