Archao Steel – bordeaux
Bordeaux is rare on a sports watch and rarer still on a one-hand dial. The Archao Steel wears it against bright, uncoated stainless steel.
The Archao arrived in 2026 as MeisterSinger's most graphic design, a departure from the softer typography of its classic lines. The name is Greek: archaios, primal or original. Finely grained dial, outsized half-hour and quarter-hour markers in white, five-minute track faded to gray, and a hand built in two halves. Numerals, markers and hand are LumiBlocks, solid luminous blocks set onto the dial rather than painted on, which hold light considerably longer than the lume the brand used before.
A 43 mm stainless steel case, a bordeaux dial, and a bordeaux leather strap on 20 mm lugs. This reference is plain steel with no coating. The movement is a Sellita SW200 automatic modified for the single-hand configuration, good for 38 hours, with 5 bar water resistance and no date. The printed exhibition caseback shows the model name in transparent script over a volcano-inspired background, so the movement reads through the artwork.
Warmer than the black dial and louder than the blue, this is the Archao that looks chosen rather than issued.
Perfect for: red dial watch collectors, steel sports watches with leather straps, everyday single-hand watch shoppers.
