Archao Steel – black
Strip away the coating and the Archao becomes a different proposition: bare stainless steel around a matte black dial, with all of the graphic force intact.
Archao Steel sits at the sporty end of the MeisterSinger range, launched in 2026 and named from the Greek archaios, primal or original. The dial is finely grained, with oversized half-hour and quarter-hour markers in white and the five-minute divisions faded to light gray on purpose, so the broad structure does the reading. Numerals, markers and hand are solid white LumiBlocks, luminous elements applied to the dial that charge in daylight and stay bright long after it goes.
This reference keeps the 43 mm case in plain, uncoated stainless steel, paired with a black dial and black leather strap on 20 mm lugs. The single hand is the divided type unique to the model: triangular tip, long rear counterweight, hollow center. A Sellita SW200 automatic, modified for single-hand display, runs for 38 hours, and the watch is rated to 5 bar. Time only.
For anyone who wants the Archao's legibility without the stealth, steel keeps it conventional at a glance and quietly unusual on the second look.
Perfect for: stainless steel sports watch buyers, high-contrast black dial watches, first single-hand watch purchases.
