29er Pointer Date — White Dial / Steel Bracelet
Steel bracelet, white dial, and a date hand instead of a date window. The 29er Pointer Date is the most quietly unusual watch in its family, and on a bracelet it becomes the version you never take off.
Mühle-Glashütte named the 29er after the 29er sailing dinghy, the class young sailors move through on the way to the Olympic 49er, and launched the range in 2006 as an entrance to Glashütte watchmaking. The pointer date is its cleverest expression: a slim central hand turns once every 31 days and marks the current date against a scale on the light blue rehaut with a dark blue half-moon tip.
The white dial holds applied indices coated in Super-LumiNova and a central seconds hand. The stainless steel case is 42.4 mm wide, 12.2 mm high and 49 mm lug to lug, matched here to a brushed steel bracelet with a folding clasp at 178 grams. The SW 221-1, Version Mühle automatic runs 41 hours behind an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a sapphire exhibition back, with a screw-down crown for 10 bar.
All-steel, high-contrast and genuinely distinctive. A daily watch with one idea worth keeping.
Perfect for: steel bracelet everyday watches, pointer date buyers, white dial sports watches.
