29er Chronograph — White Dial / Coffee Brown Canvas
White dial, coffee brown canvas. It is the warmest way this watch is offered, and the combination takes some of the edge off a case that makes no apology for standing 14.2 mm tall.
The 29er Chronograph is the halo of a family Mühle-Glashütte named after a sailing dinghy: the 29er, the youth class that feeds the Olympic 49er, and the reference the brand chose in 2006 for a range meant to open the door to Glashütte watchmaking. The chronograph earns its position with the MU 9413, Mühle's own caliber, assembled, finished and regulated in Glashütte and running 62 hours from full wind.
The white dial keeps its applied indices and Super-LumiNova legible in any light, with small seconds and the date at four o'clock. The stainless steel case measures 42.4 mm in diameter and 49 mm lug to lug, on 22 mm coffee brown canvas with a steel pin buckle, 122 grams complete. Anti-reflective sapphire covers the dial, a sapphire exhibition back covers the movement, and the screw-down crown holds it to 10 bar.
The friendliest configuration of a genuinely capable chronograph. Good with brown leather, better with a rolled sleeve.
Perfect for: white dial chronograph seekers, warm-toned strap pairings, German automatic chronograph buyers.
