29er Casual — Coastal Blue Dial / Dark Brown + Anthracite Calf Leather
Thin is harder to engineer than big. The 29er Casual carries what Mühle-Glashütte calls the flattest case in its current collection, under 10 mm tall, and that single figure is why a 42.4 mm watch slides under a shirt cuff instead of snagging on it.
The 29er line was developed in 2006 and named after the 29er sailing dinghy, the training class that leads to the Olympic 49er. Where the rest of the family leans maritime, the Casual is the one dressed for the office and the weekend alike: no rotating bezel, no tool-watch furniture, just applied indices and Super-LumiNova against a clean face.
The dial here is coastal blue, a cool marine tone that shifts with the light. Central seconds sweep past a date window at three. The brushed and polished steel case spans 49 mm lug to lug on 22 mm attachments, and the strap combines dark brown calf leather with anthracite velour suede for a slightly softer, less formal finish. The automatic caliber is the SW 300-1 in Version Mühle trim, carrying Mühle's patented woodpecker neck fine regulation and 56 hours of running time, visible through the exhibition caseback.
A watch that can spend Monday under a jacket sleeve and Saturday over a sweater without changing character.
Perfect for: slim automatic watch buyers, business-casual daily wear, coastal blue dial seekers.
