29er Big GMT — Black Dial / Nautical Blue Canvas

A second time zone, read from a 24-hour scale on the flange rather than from a rotating bezel: that is the whole idea of the 29er Big GMT, and it keeps the dial as calm as any other Mühle-Glashütte 29er.

The line takes its name from the 29er sailing dinghy, the youth class that prepares crews for the Olympic 49er, and dates to 2006. The GMT is a 2026 addition to it, with the same 42.4 mm case, the same maritime manners and one more hand.

The dial is black with a grey rehaut, the sloped ring between dial and crystal, and it is on that ring that a blue-tipped 24-hour hand reads the second zone. Applied indices and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, and the date sits at 6 o'clock. The steel case is 10.3 mm deep and 49 mm lug to lug, with anti-reflective sapphire, an exhibition caseback and 10 bar. The automatic SW 330-2, Version Mühle runs 56 hours, appreciably longer than the three-hand 29er Big, and stops its seconds for precise setting. Nautic blue canvas, 22 mm.
