29er Big GMT — Black Dial / Coffee Brown Canvas

Brown canvas is an odd choice for a travel watch and a good one: it dresses the 29er Big GMT down to something you can wear on a plane without thinking about it. Mühle-Glashütte added the GMT to the line in 2026.

The 29er name comes from sailing, from the youth dinghy that trains crews for the Olympic 49er, and the model has been the Glashütte firm's introduction to mechanical watchmaking since 2006. The GMT keeps every one of the line's rules, including the absence of a rotating bezel.

The second time zone reads instead from a 24-hour scale on the grey rehaut, tracked by a blue-tipped central hand. The black dial carries applied indices with Super-LumiNova and a date at 6 o'clock. The stainless steel case is 42.4 mm wide and only 10.3 mm deep, with a screw-down crown, sapphire on both sides and 10 bar. The automatic SW 330-2, Version Mühle provides 56 hours of reserve; Mühle fits its patented woodpecker neck fine regulation and its own rotor, then finishes and regulates the movement in Glashütte.

Two time zones, one uncomplicated dial, and a strap that suits the weekend.
