29er Big — White Dial / Steel Bracelet
Steel on steel with a white dial: the 29er Big at its most complete. Mühle-Glashütte fits the bracelet with a folding clasp and leaves the rest of the watch exactly as it is, because there is nothing on it that needs changing.
The 29er name belongs to sailing, to the dinghy class that prepares crews for the Olympic 49er, and the watch was built in 2006 to make Glashütte watchmaking approachable. That maritime lineage is real: the Mühle family firm re-started in 1994 building marine chronometers and ship's clocks, and still carries nautical instruments in its legal name.
The case is 42.4 mm wide and 11.3 mm tall, 49 mm from lug to lug, water resistant to 10 bar, with a screw-down crown. The 190 mm steel bracelet closes on a folding clasp. The dial keeps its applied Super-LumiNova indices and date at 3 o'clock; the SW 200-1, Version Mühle automatic behind it runs 41 hours, hacks for precise setting, and is regulated in Glashütte with Mühle's patented woodpecker neck fine regulator.
89 grams before the bracelet is counted, and built to be worn without ceremony.
Perfect for: steel bracelet sports watches, white dial daily wearers, one-watch travel setups.
