29er Big — Silver-Gray Dial / Stone Gray Canvas

Grey on grey, with steel to break it up. The stone grey canvas strap and silver-grey dial make this the most tonal 29er Big in the range, and the least likely to draw a comment. Mühle-Glashütte is entirely comfortable with that.

The model takes its name from the 29er sailing dinghy, the youth boat that feeds the Olympic 49er, and dates to 2006. Mühle wanted a watch that could introduce someone to Glashütte watchmaking without asking them to compromise on how it was made.

The steel case measures 42.4 by 11.3 mm and 49 mm lug to lug, with anti-reflective sapphire and an exhibition caseback. The dial carries applied luminous indices and a date at 3 o'clock; the 22 mm stone grey canvas fastens on a steel pin buckle. The automatic SW 200-1, Version Mühle offers 41 hours of reserve and stop-seconds, and is finished in Glashütte with solarised surfaces, perlage and heat-blued screws, then set to Mühle's own rate tolerance.
