Warm metal changes how a faceted case reads. On this URUGA 31 the pink gold plating softens every mirrored plane without blunting a single edge.

MINASE builds the watch around a clamping structure rather than an enclosed case: four voluminously cut clasps, faceted individually, hold the case and the crystal in place the way prongs hold a gemstone. Against a warm finish the geometry becomes easier to follow, and the slight vertical curvature of the sapphire is easier to see from the side.

The dial keeps the collection's horizontal gradation, a pattern MINASE derives from the shifting surface of the Minase River, with obliquely cut indices whose angle comes from the front of a kimono. This reference matches the plated case to a pink leather strap, which keeps the whole watch in one tonal family.

The case measures 31 mm across, 39 mm long and 9.9 mm thick, so it sits low and close. Inside runs the self-winding KT8001, built on a Swiss ETA 2671 and Sellita SW100 base and finished by MINASE, with a date. Water resistance is 5 atm, which covers rain and splashes.
