Unomat – black/blue

The Unomat is the toughest watch MeisterSinger has built, and it defends against something most tool watches ignore: magnetism. A soft-iron inner case and an iron dial form an enclosure around the movement rated to 24,000 A/m.

Everything else is built to match. A screw-down crown sits between guards, the caseback is solid and screwed down, and the sapphire crystal is anti-reflective coated. Water resistance on this reference is 30 bar. The dial keeps the brand's founding idea intact, with one long hand reading the hour against a five-minute scale and a round date aperture as the only addition, and the markings are luminous for night use. A Red Dot Design Award followed its launch.

This black and blue version runs a blue five-minute track and matching accents across a black dial, on a stainless steel bracelet with 20 mm lugs. The case is 43 mm stainless steel with a 50.6 mm lug-to-lug span, and the movement is a Sellita SW400 automatic, 26 jewels, running at 4 Hz with 38 hours of reserve.
