Teutonia Sport I — Silver Dial / Blue Calf Leather
Silver and blue is a livery, not a color choice. Mühle-Glashütte ties this Teutonia Sport I to the Auto Union Silver Arrows, the Grand Prix cars built by the group its instruments went into.
The dial carries the reference: a silver surface embossed with the pyramid-point pattern known as clous de Paris, "nails of Paris", with the bicompax subdials set into it the way gauges are set into a dashboard. Blue CVD-coated hands and indices, Super-LumiNova where it matters, a blue tachymeter on the rehaut, date at 6 o'clock.
The strap here is perforated blue calfskin, echoing the drilled leather of classic racing steering wheels and seats, on a steel pin buckle. Steel case, 42.6 mm by 15.5 mm, 52.1 mm lug to lug, with a bidirectional rotating bezel. Mühle's own MU 9419 automatic supplies 62 hours and is built around the traditional Glashütte three-quarter plate. Anti-reflective sapphire, exhibition caseback, 10 bar.
A chronograph that looks like an instrument panel and has the family history to justify it.
Perfect for: perforated racing strap watches, silver dial chronograph buyers, motorsport heritage watch collectors.
