Teutonia II Small Second — Silver Dial / Black Croc-Embossed Calf Leather
Silver guilloché, blackened hands, and on the Teutonia II Small Second a seconds hand that turns in its own small circle at the bottom of the dial.
This is the most traditional-looking watch in the family, and the family is already the traditional one: Mühle-Glashütte launched the Teutonia in 2002 with a silver guilloché dial, and that dial is still the collection's signature. Indices are polished and applied by hand; the case middle carries the volute-shaped lugs.
Subsidiary seconds sit at 6 o'clock opposite the logo at 12, with the date at 3. The steel case is 41.0 mm across and 13.0 mm high, spanning 51.5 mm between lugs, on black croc-embossed calfskin with a steel folding clasp. The SW 260-1, Version Mühle automatic is regulated in Glashütte with the patented woodpecker neck system, and it stops its seconds hand when the crown is pulled so the time can be set exactly. Anti-reflective sapphire, exhibition caseback, 10 bar, 41 hours.
A formal watch built on an old idea and executed without nostalgia.
Perfect for: classic guilloché dial watches, small seconds dress watch buyers, black leather formal automatics.
