Teutonia II Small Second — Midnight Blue Dial / Cognac Croc-Embossed Calf Leather
Off center, but not out of balance. Mühle-Glashütte's own phrase for the Teutonia II Small Second dial explains the layout better than any adjective could.
The seconds display sits at 6 o'clock and the Mühle logo at 12, and the two hold the dial steady between them. It is a quiet piece of design discipline in a family that has been the brand's business collection since 2002, with polished indices applied by hand and the case middle worked into the volute-shaped lugs a Teutonia is known for.
The midnight blue dial is cut in fine rays, so it shifts between deep navy and bright blue in the light, and it is paired here with cognac croc-embossed calfskin on a steel folding clasp. Steel case, 41.0 mm across, 13.0 mm high, 51.5 mm lug to lug. Date at 3 o'clock. The SW 260-1, Version Mühle automatic runs 41 hours with Mühle's patented woodpecker neck fine regulation and stop-seconds. Anti-reflective sapphire, exhibition caseback, 10 bar.
Warm strap, cool dial, subsidiary seconds turning away at the bottom. An easy watch to wear every day.
Perfect for: small seconds watch buyers, navy blue dial automatics, cognac leather strap watches.
