Teutonia II Ring date — Gray-Blue Dial / Slate-Gray Alcantara
No date window. No date hand. The Teutonia II Ring Date tells you the date by lighting up one of 31 small holes.
Mühle-Glashütte's description is precise: small oval cutouts are made in the dial within a 31-day ring scale, and beneath them sits a date disc in exactly the same color as the dial, carrying a single white marker. That marker appears through one opening as a small bright index and steps one opening further every day. Nothing interrupts the dial surface, and the date is still readable at a glance.
The ray-cut gray-blue dial sits in a 41.0 mm steel case just 10.7 mm high and 51.2 mm lug to lug, with bright nickel-plated hands, hand-applied polished indices and the volute-shaped lugs of the Teutonia II line. This version wears slate-gray Alcantara, a suede-like microfiber, on a steel folding clasp. SW 200-1, Version Mühle automatic, 41 hours, woodpecker neck fine regulation, exhibition caseback, anti-reflective sapphire, 10 bar.
The most distinctive dial in the collection, and the least obvious way to read a date.
Perfect for: unusual date complication collectors, gray-blue dial watches, Alcantara strap watch buyers.
