Teutonia II Chronograph — Silver Dial / Black Croc-Embossed Calf Leather
A chronograph does not have to look like a piece of sports equipment. The Teutonia II Chronograph makes its case quietly, with a silver guilloché dial and a black croc-embossed calfskin strap.
Mühle-Glashütte launched the Teutonia in 2002 as its first public wristwatch collection, and the family still runs on the same idea: simple elegance and down-to-earth luxury for everyday business life. The silver guilloché dial, the hand-applied polished indices and the case middle with its volute-shaped, scrolled lugs are the signatures that identify it.
This is the largest watch in the Teutonia II line, 42.0 mm across and 15.5 mm tall in stainless steel, spanning 52.3 mm between the lugs. It runs Mühle's own MU 9413 automatic caliber, built on a Swiss base and extensively reworked in Glashütte around the traditional Glashütte three-quarter plate, with 62 hours of power reserve. Blackened hands read against the guilloché; small seconds, a combined day and date at 4 o'clock and the chronograph share the dial. Anti-reflective sapphire in front, an exhibition caseback behind, a steel folding clasp on the strap, 10 bar of water resistance.
It suits a wearer who wants a stopwatch on hand without dressing down for it. On leather the 42 mm case wears lighter than its dimensions suggest.
Perfect for: German automatic chronograph buyers, silver guilloché dial collectors, business-formal watches with a stopwatch.
