Terrasport II — Cream Dial / Brown Buffalo
Cream dial, brown buffalo leather, and a red seconds hand tracking across both. The Terrasport II in its warmest configuration looks decades older than it is.
Mühle-Glashütte draws the dial from the pilot's watches Glashütte began making in the late 1930s, when the town's watchmakers turned to precise, easily read instruments. That heritage belongs to Glashütte itself; the Mühle family's own contribution from 1869 was precision measuring instruments. The design conventions survive intact here: Arabic numerals 1 through 11, luminous rectangular five-minute batons, and a luminous triangle flanked by two dots where the 12 would normally sit, so the dial can be oriented at a glance.
This reference pairs the cream dial with a brown buffalo leather strap on a steel pin buckle, 20 mm at the lug, and comes in at 66 grams complete. The brushed stainless steel case is 40.0 mm across and 10.0 mm tall with a 48.2 mm lug-to-lug, fitted with anti-reflective sapphire, a screw-down crown and an exhibition caseback. The date sits at 3 o'clock. Inside is the SW 200-1, Version Mühle automatic with woodpecker neck fine regulation and stop-seconds, running 41 hours. Water resistant to 10 bar.
Losange hands and a warm dial make this the most characterful Terrasport II of the six.
Perfect for: cream dial watch buyers, brown leather strap automatics, vintage-styled 40 mm field watches.
