Black leather does something specific to a pale dial: it removes every competing tone and leaves the color alone in the frame. On this SEVEN WINDOWS the ice blue YUKI-HIRA dial gets exactly that treatment.

MINASE assembles the watch as a case within a case. An inner case carries the movement and the curved dial, and an index ring sits above it with markers that read as though suspended. Around all of it goes the outer case, a six-faceted square whose crown is divided into two on the flank, giving seven sapphire panels in total for light to pass through.

The dial itself is a traditional Japanese hammered pattern grown by electroforming rather than printed, pale enough that the relief carries most of the expression. On the black leather strap the watch drops to about 89 grams, roughly half the weight of the bracelet version, and it sits closer to the wrist for it. The steel case is 37.4 mm wide, 46.5 mm long and 13 mm thick with the crystal.

The self-winding KT7002 shows the date and is rated to 5 atm, which is splash resistance rather than swimming.
