MINASE takes the concept for the case from the idea of looking at a garden from inside a room. A yukimi shoji is a snow-viewing screen, a sliding paper panel with a glazed lower section that frames the garden while keeping the cold out, and the WINDOWS cases work the same way: light is drawn in through the case sides and the back, and the scene outside is projected onto the dial.

Here the count runs to seven, six faceted panes in the square case plus the crown divided into two on the side. The gray dial is finely textured and sits inside an inner case, with the hour markers carried on a ring above it so they read as suspended.

The steel case is 37.4 mm wide, 46.5 mm long and 13 mm thick with the crystal, fitted to a leather strap. Inside, the self-winding calibre KT7002, built on a Swiss ETA 2892 and Sellita SW300 base and finished by MINASE, with a date. Rated 5 atm.
