SEVEN WINDOWS Bracelet Model [VM15-M01NWH-SSB]
Against a white dial you can actually see the gap. The hour markers of the SEVEN WINDOWS sit on a ring above the dial surface, and the shadow each one casts is the giveaway.
MINASE calls the arrangement case-in-case. An inner case carries the movement and a dial with a curved surface, an index ring is fastened over the top, and a second case encloses everything, cut as a square with six facets and a crown separated into two on the side. Seven sapphire windows in total, front, back and around the flanks, all feeding light onto that dial.
White is the version that makes the structure legible in daylight and the finishing legible up close: the flat mirrored planes of the case, the sharp lines where they meet, and the brushed surfaces between them. On the bracelet the watch comes to about 160 grams, and the whole exterior is designed to be dismantled and refinished rather than retired.
The steel case measures 37.4 by 46.5 mm and 13 mm thick with the crystal. The self-winding KT7002, a Swiss ETA 2892 and Sellita SW300 base finished by MINASE, carries a date. Rated 5 atm for splashes.
Perfect for: white dial steel bracelet watches, floating index designs, gifts for architecture and design lovers.
