Primatic – steel blue/gold

Steel blue with gold and a power-reserve arc across the bottom of the dial. The Primatic is the MeisterSinger that tells you how much running time is left before it tells you anything else.

That indicator is the model's reason for existing. Rather than winding a watch on faith, the wearer reads the remaining energy on a scale spanning the lower dial half, alongside a date window beside 3 o'clock. Time itself comes from one hand crossing a five-minute scale, with no seconds hand to hurry things along, which is how the brand has done it from Münster since 2001. An iF Design Award followed.

This 365 dial is a sunburst steel blue with gold detailing, the coolest of the two colorways and the more versatile of them. The sunburst catches light in bands as the wrist turns, and the brown strap on 20 mm lugs stops it looking severe. The case measures 41.5 mm in stainless steel with 5 bar water resistance, and a Sellita SW270 automatic powers the display.
