Panova Blue — Cognac Calf Leather

Mühle-Glashütte describes the Panova as a watch-life balance rather than a tool, which is an unusual thing to say for a company whose other watches go to sea in the dark.

The Panova Blue is the most conventional color in the line and probably the most wearable. Its ray-cut dial throws light in a fan from the center, so the blue moves between deep and bright depending on where you happen to be standing. Hour markers and hands carry Super-LumiNova, and no date window interrupts the surface.

This reference runs a smooth cognac calf leather strap, 20 mm, on a steel pin buckle. The steel case is 40.0 mm in diameter and 10.4 mm thick, 48.2 mm lug to lug, sealed to 10 bar with a closed steel caseback. The movement is the SW 200-1 Version Mühle, a Swiss automatic reworked in Glashütte with the patented woodpecker neck regulation, running 41 hours and hacking for precise setting.
