Some watches change through the case. The Neo Special Model changes only through the dial, and that turns out to be enough.

MeisterSinger takes the 36 mm Neo it has built since the sapphire relaunch, keeps the case, crystal, caseback and movement exactly as they are, and reworks the face in a set of spring-inspired pastels. This light blue is the coolest of them. Its markers are silver-gloss printed in several layers, which gives them a subtle three-dimensional lift that shifts as you tilt your wrist, with hour and half-hour markers picked out in a contrasting tone keyed to the dial color.

The reading method is the German brand's founding idea, unchanged since 2001: one hand, double-digit numerals from 01 to 12, and a fine scale divided every five minutes, so the time comes almost to the minute without a minute hand in sight. The stainless steel case measures 36 mm across 18 mm lugs, is water resistant to 5 bar and houses a Sellita SW200 automatic. It ships on a light blue velour leather strap.
