NAOS XS white silver / Noble dark blue

Black and brown are the two straps most people consider. Dark blue is the third, and under the white dial of this Naos XS it reads as a decision rather than a default.

Sternglas draws the Naos around the modernist maxim form follows function, coined by the architect Louis Sullivan and central to Bauhaus thinking: nothing on the dial that does not earn its place. The Naos XS applies it to a 33 mm case built for narrower wrists.

The dial is white, the case polished 316L steel, and the Noble leather strap dark blue on the 16 mm lugs the XS takes. Inside is a Miyota GL12 quartz movement with a date and hacking seconds, on a battery rated for roughly three years. Overhead sits a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both surfaces; water resistance is 5 bar.

Navy leather does the work a colored dial usually would, which leaves the face free to stay as quiet as it was drawn.
