Sternglas built its catalog around this design, and the Naos took a German Design Award in 2024 for it. The Hamburg brand, founded in 2016, works from Bauhaus principles rather than Bauhaus lineage: reduction, high contrast, geometric discipline, sans-serif type. On a white dial none of those decisions can hide.

The XL is the 42 mm version of that dial, on 20 mm lugs, with a Miyota GR12 quartz movement and a date. The crystal is double-domed sapphire with anti-reflective coating on both faces, and water resistance is 5 bar. The Milanaise bracelet is 316L stainless steel mesh, 2.5 mm thick, and its slider clasp adjusts to any wrist without tools or removed links.
