NAOS XL Edition 1905 dark green bronze / Field 20 forest green
In 1905 Hamburg completed the Speicherstadt, a district of red-brick warehouses standing on oak piles above the canals. That year gave this edition its name.
Sternglas builds the Naos as its most reduced design, and the Edition 1905 takes that quiet dial somewhere warmer. The case is brushed PVD bronze, the dial a dark green satin, and the hands are bronze lifted by signal-orange accents. The screwed caseback is engraved with the Wasserschloss, the small moated building that sits among the Speicherstadt canals.
The XL case measures 42 mm with 20 mm lugs, and the movement is quartz with a date. Sapphire crystal, double anti-reflective coating, 5 bar. This version arrives on a Field strap in forest green, a 1.5 mm nylon band that keeps the whole watch light and makes it the most outdoor-minded way to wear the Edition 1905.
Green on green over bronze is a considered combination rather than a loud one. It goes with field jackets and boots more naturally than with tailoring.
Perfect for: green dial watches, nylon strap casual watches, Hamburg-inspired special editions.
