NAOS XL Automatic Bronze Albaster 42mm / Super Slim Bronze

Bronze and alabaster is a warmer conversation than the Naos usually has. The dial sits pale and quiet. The case answers in a low metallic tone that catches light rather than throwing it back.

Naos is the core line at Sternglas, the Hamburg brand founded in 2016 on a simple argument: good design should not be a privilege. Its dial is reduced to what legibility actually requires, with fine printed markers, slim hands, and no ornament asked to justify itself. The approach is Bauhaus-inspired rather than Bauhaus-descended, drawing on the modernist maxim that form follows function.

This is the XL case, 42 mm across on 20 mm lugs, running an automatic movement with a date. The dial is alabaster, the case bronze-toned, and a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both faces keeps the reading clean at an angle. Water resistance is 5 bar. It arrives on the Super Slim bracelet in matching bronze: 316L stainless steel, 2.2 mm thick, finished with a brushed steel clasp.

It suits a wrist that wants presence without bulk, and a wardrobe with more brown and olive in it than navy and gray.
