The Naos is the core Sternglas design and normally the brand's most formal one, so a bronze-toned case with an alabaster dial is a genuine change of register. Sternglas has designed in Hamburg since 2016, working from Bauhaus-inspired clarity, and the NAOS XL Automatik keeps that clarity while trading polished steel brightness for something older and warmer.

The alabaster dial reads as soft, aged ivory against the bronze-toned 42 mm case, with a domed sapphire crystal and double anti-reflective coating above it, a date on the dial, an automatic movement inside and 5 bar of water resistance. The green Field strap is woven nylon, just 1.5 mm thick, and fits the 20 mm lugs with Sternglas's tool-free quick-change system, so swapping it for leather takes seconds and no tools.
