Count what is absent from this Naos dial. No numerals, no crowded minute track, no seconds scale, no text beyond the essentials. What remains is a white field, printed markers, hands and a date.

That subtraction is the Sternglas method. The Naos strips the dial back to whatever helps you read the time and stops, then leans on contrast and geometry to carry the rest, the approach behind its German Design Award in 2024.

The white dial sits in a polished 316L steel case of 38 mm, on black Premium leather across 20 mm lugs. A Miyota GR12 quartz movement handles the time and date, accurate to about twenty seconds a month, on a battery rated for roughly three years. Double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both faces, water resistant to 5 bar.

White and black is the highest contrast the model offers, and the reason this configuration is the one usually photographed.
