Sternglas has designed in Hamburg since 2016, and the NAOS is its clearest work: a Bauhaus-inspired dial cut back to indices, hands and a date, in a slim polished case. The NAOS SOLAR adds an Epson AS32 solar quartz movement that converts sunlight and indoor light into stored power, holds up to four months of running time when fully charged, and keeps accuracy within roughly twenty seconds a month.

This is the white-dial version, the brightest and most legible reading of the Naos layout, with turquoise Luminova for darkness. The case is polished 316L stainless steel at 38 mm with 20 mm lugs, under a domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating, and the watch is rated to 5 bar. The black Bridle leather strap keeps the contrast high, black against white with nothing in between.
