The NAOS SOLAR is the most independent watch in the Sternglas catalogue. An Epson AS32 solar quartz movement takes energy from sunlight and from ordinary room lighting, stores it in a rechargeable cell rather than a disposable battery, and keeps running up to four months on a full charge. Sternglas has designed in Hamburg since 2016, and the Naos line it belongs to remains the brand's most reduced and most recognizable design.

Here the dark green dial contrasts against a gold-toned PVD case of 38 mm, topped by a domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating and carrying a date. Water resistance is 5 bar. The SuperSlim bracelet in gold is stainless steel rather than leather, 2.2 mm thick in 316L with a brushed steel clasp, fitted at the 20 mm lugs so the case and bracelet flow together.

The dressiest configuration of the Solar, and the one least likely to be mistaken for anyone else's watch.
