NAOS sandbrown silver / Premium 20 brown

Mid-brown leather and the sand dial of the Naos are close enough to look related and far enough apart to avoid looking matched. That narrow band is where this build sits.

Sternglas designs in Hamburg and has drawn the Naos on the same principle since 2016: form follows function, the modernist maxim coined by Louis Sullivan and taken up by the Bauhaus. On a dial that means markers, hands, a date and nothing further.

The sand brown dial, with its dark brown hands, is set in a polished 316L steel case of 38 mm, on brown Premium leather across 20 mm lugs. A Miyota GR12 quartz movement handles the time and date. A double-domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating sits above, and water resistance is 5 bar.

It is the warmest configuration in the range, and the one that looks least like it was bought this year.
