Everything on this Naos is black except the case and the hands. The dial's gloss is the only thing separating it from the matte leather below, and in most light that is enough.

The Naos is where Sternglas keeps its Bauhaus-inspired thinking most literal: contrast over decoration, geometry over flourish, and a dial that carries a date and nothing more.

A piano black dial, high-gloss and deep, sits in a polished 316L steel case of 38 mm on 20 mm lugs, with the Premium leather strap in black. Timekeeping is a Miyota GR12 quartz with a date, running roughly three years to a battery. The crystal is double-domed sapphire with anti-reflective coating on both sides, and the case is water resistant to 5 bar.

Monochrome is a harder look to get wrong than most, and an easier one to wear after dark than anything with color in it.
