NAOS light brown silver / Milanaise 20 silver

Light brown is an uncommon dial color, nearer milky coffee than bronze. Against the silver mesh of this Naos the dial looks warmer and the metal looks cooler than either would on its own.

The Naos is Sternglas's bestseller and carries the widest range of dial colors in the catalog, all built on one reduced layout: high contrast, geometric spacing, sans-serif type and no ornament. It was given a German Design Award in 2024.

This version has the light brown dial in a polished 316L steel case of 38 mm, on a silver Milanese mesh bracelet 2.5 mm thick across 20 mm lugs, with a clasp that slides to any length rather than clicking into notches. A Miyota GR12 quartz movement runs the hands and date on a battery rated for around three years. Sapphire crystal, anti-reflective on both sides, 5 bar.

Mesh keeps the watch light and the color soft, which suits a dial that was never meant to shout.
