NAOS Edition Heritage white gold / Bridle 20 black gold (polished)

White dial, gold case, black strap. Three elements, no third color, and nothing to argue about.

This was the pairing that started the edition. The Sternglas NAOS Edition Heritage was the brand's first combination of a white Naos dial with a gold case, executed in polished PVD gold with gold hands, and framed as a tribute to twentieth-century exploration. The caseback is engraved with a globe and a writing quill.

The white dial is at its most legible in this setup, high contrast against slim gold hands and markers, inside a 38 mm case with 20 mm lugs. It runs on a Bridle leather strap in black with a polished gold buckle. A quartz movement provides the time and date, the crystal is double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating, and water resistance is 5 bar.

Formal without being stiff, and the most straightforward way into this edition.
