Sternglas made the NAOS Edition Heritage as a tribute to twentieth-century exploration, marking it with a caseback engraved with a globe and a writing quill and giving the Naos its first gold treatment, a polished PVD gold case with matching gold hands.

This configuration puts the dark brown dial on the Milanaise bracelet in polished gold, a 316L stainless steel Milanese mesh 2.5 mm thick with a sliding clasp that closes anywhere along the band. It fits via the brand's tool-free quick-change system, so the watch can go back on leather in under a minute. The 38 mm case takes 20 mm lugs, holds a double-domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating over a quartz movement with date, and is rated to 5 bar.

Mesh drapes rather than hinges, which makes this the most comfortable version of the Heritage for long days.
