NAOS Edition Heritage dark brown gold / Bridle 20 dark brown gold (polished)

Dark brown on dark brown, held together by gold. Tonal dressing works on a wrist for the same reason it works in a wardrobe.

The NAOS Edition Heritage is Sternglas's nod to twentieth-century exploration, the era of paper maps and handwritten logs, and the caseback engraving of a globe and a writing quill states it plainly. It was also the line's first gold-cased Naos, executed in polished PVD gold with gold hands and gold-toned markers.

Here the espresso-dark brown dial is matched by a Bridle leather strap in dark brown with a polished gold buckle, 20 mm at the lugs. The 38 mm case carries a double-domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating over a quartz movement with a date window, and water resistance is 5 bar. As with the rest of the Naos family, the case is slim, so it slides under a cuff cleanly.

The most cohesive of the Heritage combinations, and an easy watch to wear every day without thinking about it.
