Sternglas built the NAOS Edition Heritage as a tribute to twentieth-century exploration, when journeys were recorded by hand rather than logged automatically. It was the brand's first pairing of a gold case with the reduced Naos dial, using a polished PVD gold finish and matching gold hands over the line's usual sans-serif markers.

This is the dark brown, espresso-toned dial, set in a 38 mm case with 20 mm lugs and fitted to a Bridle leather strap in black with a polished gold buckle. A quartz movement with date sits beneath a double-domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating, and the case is rated to 5 bar. Black leather sharpens the gold and keeps the brown dial from reading soft.
