Marine blue nylon under a dark green dial is a combination that only fully makes sense once you know what the watch is called.

The NAOS EDITION ARGO from Sternglas takes its name from the Argo of Greek legend, the ship that also names the constellation Argo Navis. It is one of the Hamburg brand's few maritime references on the Naos line, whose Bauhaus-inspired dial is otherwise deliberately free of theme.

Here the dark green dial with its yellow accents sits in a 38 mm bronze-finished stainless steel case, on a Field strap in marine blue. The Field is woven nylon, 1.5 mm thick, 20 mm at the lugs, and changes without tools. A quartz movement runs the time and date, so there is nothing to wind and nothing to keep moving. Double-domed sapphire with anti-reflective coating on both faces, 5 bar of water resistance.

Light, hard-wearing and unbothered by weather. The most practical of the Argo configurations.
