NAOS Automatic dark green bronze / SuperSlim 20 bronze

Strip a steel bracelet down to 2.2 mm and it stops competing with the watch head. What remains is a dark green dial in a warm bronze frame, uninterrupted.

This is the NAOS Automatik, the mechanical version of the model that anchors the Sternglas catalogue. The Hamburg brand designs to a Bauhaus-inspired discipline of reduction, and the Naos is where it goes furthest: no clutter around the chapter ring, no applied ornament, just markers, hands and a date.

The 38 mm case is stainless steel with a bronze finish, matched by the SuperSlim bracelet, which is 316L steel with a brushed 316L clasp. The dial is dark green and softly domed, under double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating. Driving it is a Miyota 8215 automatic with hand-winding, hacking seconds and 42 hours of reserve, on show through the six-screw glass caseback. Water resistance is 5 bar; lug width is 20 mm.

Slim, warm and low-key. It wears like a dressier watch than the color would suggest.
