NAOS Automatic dark green bronze / Milanaise 20 bronze

Milanese mesh catches light in small increments, and in bronze it does so warmly. Over a dark green dial the effect is closer to an antique instrument than to modern steel.

Sternglas, based in Hamburg since 2016, applies its most reduced design to the NAOS. The Automatik is the mechanical version of that model, drawn to the same Bauhaus-inspired brief: geometric layout, sans-serif type, and a dial cleared of anything that does not help you read the time.

The dark green dial is set in a 38 mm stainless steel case in a bronze finish, on a bronze Milanaise bracelet. The mesh is 316L steel, 2.5 mm thick, with a sliding clasp that adjusts to any wrist size without removing links, and it swaps out tool-free. A Miyota 8215 automatic keeps the time and the date, running 42 hours from full and beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour behind a screwed glass caseback. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both faces, 5 bar.

Green and bronze is the least common palette in the Naos range, and the mesh is what makes it look considered rather than theatrical.
