NAOS Automatic dark green bronze / Field 20 green

Green on green sounds risky until you see it. The dial is deep and satin, the nylon flatter and lighter. Two greens, two textures, no argument between them.

The NAOS Automatik is the self-winding version of the Sternglas flagship, and the Hamburg brand keeps its dial as spare as ever even in a color this rich. Bauhaus-inspired reduction here means legibility first: sans-serif markers, strong contrast, nothing applied for decoration.

A dark green dial sits in a 38 mm stainless steel case finished in bronze, warm against the cool green. The Field strap is woven nylon, 1.5 mm thick, 20 mm at the lugs, and comes off without a tool. Inside is a Miyota 8215 automatic with a 42-hour power reserve, hacking seconds and a date, its rotor visible through the six-screw exhibition caseback. Double-domed sapphire, double anti-reflective coating, 5 bar.
