NAOS Automatic black-red silver / SuperSlim 20 silver

Some bracelets announce themselves. The SuperSlim, at 2.2 mm thick, does the opposite, lying flat enough that the black dial stays the only thing you notice.

That dial belongs to the NAOS Automatik, the mechanical core of the Sternglas catalogue. The Hamburg brand takes its name from Stern and Glas, star and glass, pointing at the sapphire crystal at the center of each watch, and its Naos design keeps the face reduced to markers, hands, a date and, here, a single red accent.

The case is 316L stainless steel, 38 mm across, polished in a silver tone to match the bracelet. That bracelet is SuperSlim steel with a brushed 316L clasp. The movement is a Miyota 8215 automatic running at 21,600 vibrations per hour with a 42-hour reserve, on display through a six-screw glass caseback. Double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating, 5 bar of water resistance, 20 mm between the lugs.

All steel, all silver, one red mark. It is the most graphic version of this Naos and the lightest of them on the wrist.
