Hammered metal cannot be repeated exactly. Each strike leaves a facet at its own angle, which means no two of these bezels break the light in quite the same way.
This is the G-SHOCK MR-G square finished by hand with a hammer tone pattern. MR-G has been the flagship line since 1996, and the work is done at Yamagata Casio on the Premium Production Line, where the hammering is a genuine hand process rather than a stamped texture applied at volume.
The case measures 49.4 by 43.2 by 12.9 mm in titanium, with a diamond-like coating over the hammered surfaces so the facets hold their contrast rather than polishing flat with wear. The solid titanium bracelet carries the same treatment and closes on a tight-lock three-fold clasp. Sapphire crystal, 200 meters of water resistance, Tough Solar charging, Multi Band 6 radio calibration and Bluetooth pairing to the CASIO WATCHES app.
