MARUS is the dive-style family in the Sternglas range, and it earns the description with hardware rather than styling: a screw-down crown, double gaskets, a screw-in caseback engraved with a blue whale, and 20 bar of water resistance, which is 200 meters. The Hamburg brand designs it to be legible first and decorative second.

The case measures 42 mm in 316L stainless steel and sits under a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both faces. Its Seiko/TMI NH35A automatic carries 24 jewels and roughly 41 hours of power reserve, with the date at six o clock, and dual-tone Super-LumiNova on the hands, indices and bezel. The 20 mm steel bracelet is made for this case.
